NobidadeTV: Promoting Cape Verdean language and culture through artistic expression, music, art, poetry, history, and "cultural pluralism".

 




Nobidade TV is a Cape Verdean program started in Rhode Island (USA) in the year of 1988. Nobidade TV's mission is to educate the public about the Cape Verdean people and its culture. Nobidade TV is the first program of its kind to broadcast in Cape Verdean Creole. Nobidade TV's objective is to promote Cape Verdean language and culture through artistic expression, music, art, poetry, history, and "cultural pluralism".

Nobidade TV raises, globally, greater public awareness of Cape Verdean-Americans and their distinct identity within the communities of Southern New England: Rhode Island , Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

This program, NobidadeTV, is a catalyst for social promotion of Cape Verdean artists from around the world. NobidadeTV works for the upliftment of arts and humanities.
